Separating Couples Mediation Full Day

Service Description

Both parties will attend pre-mediation sessions, which must be completed and booked before scheduling a full day mediation session. During these sessions, Leona will explain the mediation process for separating couples, outline the role of the mediator, and discuss the issues the parties wish to address. The suitability of mediation will also be assessed at this stage before progressing further. Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process designed to support separating couples in reaching practical and informed agreements in a respectful and constructive manner. The mediator acts as an impartial facilitator and does not provide legal advice to either party. Both parties are encouraged to seek independent legal advice throughout the mediation process. Documentation Requirements Following completion of the pre-mediation sessions, Leona will request relevant documentation from both parties in advance of the full day mediation session. Requested documents must be provided within the specified timeframe to allow adequate preparation and support an effective mediation process. Documentation may include: * Financial information * Parenting schedules * Court documents * Any other relevant materials relating to the matters being addressed in mediation Providing documentation in advance helps ensure that mediation time is used constructively and efficiently for both parties. Failure to provide requested documentation may result in the postponement or rescheduling of the mediation session, and additional fees may apply. Full Day Mediation A full day mediation session runs from 10:00am to 5:00pm and includes: Two 15-minute breaks One 45-minute lunch break Fees Full day mediation session: € 2,000 per day All full day sessions must be paid in advance Additional time outside the scheduled session is charged at a pro rata rate of €100 per hour Additional Costs / Outlays Reasonable and agreed receipted expenses may apply, including: Meeting room hire Couriered documents Postage or registered letters Travel and mileage Mileage charges will be agreed in advance at a specified rate per kilometre or mile. Preparation time, document review, drafting of mediation summaries, and additional correspondence outside scheduled sessions may also be charged at the pro rata hourly rate where applicable. Invoicing & Payment Pro rata fees and outlay expenses will be invoiced and are payable within 21 days of the invoice date.
